The construction environment presents significant challenges: the work area is situated in an open nearshore zone, heavily influenced by monsoons, waves, and ocean currents, with complex and variable weather conditions. This places extremely high demands on construction equipment, requiring not only powerful excavation and conveying capabilities but also superior hull structural strength, excellent resistance to wind and waves, and highly precise positioning accuracy to ensure safe, stable, and accurate operations even under challenging sea conditions.

To fully meet the client’s needs, YaKai custom-designed a large dredger with a capacity of 4,000 cubic meters per hour. The vessel adheres to stringent standards and rigorous requirements throughout its design and manufacturing phases, boasting several outstanding core advantages:

First, in terms of hull performance, the ship features a robust overall structure with exceptional resistance to wind and waves, enabling it to adapt to the complex hydrological and meteorological conditions of nearshore waters and ensuring continuous, safe construction. Second, the equipment is equipped with an advanced high-precision positioning system that monitors vessel position and dredging depth in real time, achieving millimeter-level construction accuracy and ensuring that dredging operations strictly follow the designed cross-section, preventing over-excavation or under-excavation.

In terms of functionality, this dredger boasts strong excavation capabilities, with a maximum dredging depth of up to 14 meters, fully meeting the stringent depth requirements of large container ships and bulk carriers. Meanwhile, its powerful pumping and suction system ensures long-distance transport of high-concentration slurry, with an average monthly dredging output consistently exceeding 200,000 cubic meters, demonstrating exceptionally high productivity. Importantly, the entire vessel and its key components have passed certification by the China Classification Society (CCS), fully complying with international maritime safety standards and reaching world-class levels in reliability, safety, and compliance. Furthermore, through optimized designs of the power and propulsion systems, the equipment achieves remarkable energy efficiency, successfully controlling fuel consumption to below 0.8 yuan per cubic meter while maintaining high-power output and significantly reducing unit construction costs.
